Overview

The 11.11 sale is recognized as the biggest shopping event of the year for e-commerce platforms. I led the 2019's Qoo10 11.11 Double Wonders Sale campaign, taking charge of both the design concepts and visual direction. My role involved creating a wide range of campaign materials, including both online and offline designs, ensuring cohesive and impactful branding throughout.

Process

I worked with the campaign marketing team to ensure that their objectives aligned with the layout, theme, and functional requirements, creating a seamless and fun user experience that can translate into increased sales. Additionally, I work closely with my design team and collaborate with other designers from other departments to ensure that the design concepts were cohesive throughout other channels and pages in the e-commerce site.

Challenges

The initial stages of conceptualizing the main theme design involved numerous mockups, ideas, and revisions. Creating a whimsical theme to align with the event name posed a challenge. However, we successfully finalized the theme after incorporating feedback from the head of marketing and the team.

Time constraints posed a significant challenge, necessitating effective time management to ensure tasks were completed on schedule. My role also involved delegating tasks to the designers in my team to guarantee that all deliverables were met on time.
